I am a self-published author. I have penned eight novels and one nonfiction book. I am currently working on my ninth novel. This website contains a list of my books along with descriptions of their plots. Each description includes a link showing where the books can be purchased.
My books are about the African American experience in America. The characters show different people involved in various scenarios and conflicts and how they deal with and sometimes overcome the obstacles they are presented with in their daily lives. African Americans have a very rich and diverse culture that has several unique facets. I try to show many different sides to our history and experiences in the stories I tell.

This is the first book in the Talbot family series.

This is the story of one man’s road to prosperity amidst a harsh and cruel world that places little value on him and the race of people he came from. Not only is the world against him, but he also encounters treachery and duplicity amongst members of his own family.
He overcomes the obstacles of bigotry and racism without help or protection from anyone. Because of his stamina and hard work, he leaves his descendants with a prosperous way of life that will be enjoyed by subsequent generations.
