I am a self-published author. I have penned eight novels and one nonfiction book. I am currently working on my ninth novel. This website contains a list of my books along with descriptions of their plots. Each description includes a link showing where the books can be purchased.

My books are about the African American experience in America. The characters show different people involved in various scenarios and conflicts and how they deal with and sometimes overcome the obstacles they are presented with in their daily lives. African Americans have a very rich and diverse culture that has several unique facets. I try to show many different sides to our history and experiences in the stories I tell.

This book is the second installment of the Talbot family series. The family’s prosperity continues and expands after Jericho’s death. Rivalries and conflicts continue among certain family members. The family still has to deal with the burdens of discrimination and Jim Crow along with the other African Americans of that time period. The family enjoys the prosperity of the Roaring Twenties. After the twenties, they are thrust into the Great Depression along with the rest of the nation. The family must work together to continue the legacy started by Jericho Talbot.
