Cherise Williams has dreamed of becoming a professional photographer since she was a little girl. She obtains a scholarship to attend the photography school at UCLA after she finishes high school, but certain changes in her life force her to put her dream on hold.
Her life changes after the death of the grandmother who raised her. Cherise becomes involved with a very handsome young man who is nothing but trouble. After she succumbs to his charms, she loses sight of her dreams and goals
She ends the relationship and becomes involved with the man of her dreams. Her past comes back to haunt her. She is arrested and sent to jail for a crime that she does not commit. There is a good possibility that she may end up in prison.
During this story, Cherise manages to get her life back on track. She learns from her experiences and becomes a stronger and more mature young woman. By the end of the story nothing and no one can stop her from going after the things she wants out of life.
